Merchant Cash Advance Direct Lenders
Dated October 14, 2026
Merchant cash advance direct lenders are companies that fund the advance themselves, rather than brokers who pass your application along to other funders. In a merchant cash advance, you get a lump sum now and repay it from a share of your future card or bank sales.
Direct lender vs. broker
- Direct lender. The company that reviews your application is the one that provides the money.
- Broker. The company sends your application to one or more funders, who then make the decision.
Either way, read who the actual funder is before you sign.
How a merchant cash advance works
- You receive funds based on your expected future sales.
- Repayment comes as a set share of daily or weekly sales, or as a fixed withdrawal.
- When sales slow down, percentage-based payments usually get smaller too.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Who is the actual funder?
- Is repayment a percentage of sales or a fixed withdrawal?
- What is the total amount you'll repay?
- Can you repay early, and what happens if you do?
- Do you have to sign a personal guarantee?
